SINCONA Lake View Collection · Texts and contexts III / Around 1591, Bern minted a gold coin in the weight of 3 Ducats, struck with the dies of the so-called “Spiral-Dicken” – an absolute gem and rarity of Swiss numismatics.

On 30 October 2025, SINCONA held its 100th auction. To mark the occasion, Ursula Kampmann had a talk with founder, owner, and CEO Jürg Richter, who has been passionate about numismatics since his early teen years.

Ján Oliva (1903–1982) is considered one of the most important figures in Czechoslovakian banking in the first half of the 20th century. Accompanying lot no. 1124 from his estate – part of SINCONA Jubilee Auction 100 – we dedicated the following portrait to him (in German only).
